The Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and the Council of Governors respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in strict compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and the regulations issued by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
2. Personal Data We Collect
During registration for Agriculture Summit 2026, we collect only necessary identifying and logistical information, including:
- Full Name, Gender, and Nationality
- National ID / Passport Number (for accreditation)
- Official Email and Mobile Phone Number
- Organisation, Job Title, Sector and County
- Breakaway session track preferences
- Dietary and accessibility assistance requirements
3. Purpose of Processing
Your data is processed solely for:
- Issuance of official summit accreditation passes and security clearance at KICC.
- Breakaway session capacity planning and thematic working group allocations.
- Provision of hospitality, special dietary requirements, and physical accessibility accommodations.
- Official post-summit communique distribution, evaluation surveys, and reporting.
4. Data Retention & Security
All participant records are stored in encrypted relational databases with role-based access control (RBAC). Only authorized members of the National Secretariat accreditation unit may access delegate information. Data will be retained only for the duration required to complete official summit reporting and archival records.
